How To Get Here

You will need a local guide because you will never find Kidete Beach without one. Trust me, once you get here, you’ll be walking around in circles trying to find this hidden beach by yourself!

The best way to enter into the land of Kidete when you arrive in the Kigamboni district of Dar is by dolla dolla, (bus) boda boda, (motorcycle taxi) or bajaji (covered motor taxi). These modes of transportation will drop you and your guide off right in front of the Kibugumo Shule walkway crossing, which also serves as one of the main entrances into Kidete.

The Perfect Landmark!

(The walkway is across the street from this Kibugumo Shule ]Kibugumo School] sign.)

You can also have your boda boda driver drop you off a couple of miles down into Kidete.
